As of January 1, 2023, in all categories of farms in the Kashkadarya region, the total number of cattle amounted to 1,688.8 thousand heads (101.6% compared to January 1, 2022), of which 558.4 thousand heads are cows (102.0%), sheep and goats - 4,919.5 thousand heads (102.8%), horses - 35.6 thousand heads (104.8%) and birds - 6,402.6 thousand heads (104.9%).
