On April 14 this year, the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a round table at the Tashkent State Economic University.
The event was attended by employees of the central office of the Agency for Statistics, representatives of the Department of Statistics of the Сity of Tashkent, teachers and students of the university.
At the round table, the Head of the Department of Investment and Construction Statistics Zhamolov Muzaffar Mirzokhitovich spoke on the formation and improvement of work on investment and construction statistics.
Also at the event, issues of preparation for the census, conducted and planned for further work in this direction, the content of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Official Statistics" were separately touched upon.
At the end of the event, specialists from the Agency for Statistics provided detailed information on the issues of interest to the participants.
Students who took an active part in the event were awarded books.
