At this seminar, the Head of the Monitoring and Coordination Department of the Open Data portal, A. Sultanov, said that the following topics were discussed at the 4th World Data Forum:

- use and implementation of large volumes of data “Big Data” into statistical practice and improvement of data quality;

- assistance in the formation of the market of applications and services functioning in the form of open data on the world information network Internet;

- budget savings in the development of socially useful services;

- expanding opportunities for information exchange between government agencies;

- Creation of an information base for the implementation of the concept of "Open Government";

- development of civil society through the possibility of monitoring and monitoring the activities of state bodies.
