May 19 this year Deputy Head of the Department of Demographic Indicators of the Agency for Statistics Maruf Shodiev and Head of the Protocol Service Maksumova Komila organized a seminar and presentation of the results of the participation of a group of experts on statistics in a meeting of the Gender Conference organized by the UN Economic Commission for Europe on May 9-12, 2023 in Geneva (Switzerland) .
Maruf Chodiev and Komila Maksumova discussed with the workshop participants the issues discussed at the above meeting: gender inequality in income and wages according to Gender Statistics, gender and the environment, recording indicators of violence against women, presented new data sources for gender statistics, trade and other topics.
Also during the presentation, information was given on gender statistics of foreign countries.
At the end of the seminar, the participants received answers to their questions.
