As of April 1, 2023, the total resident population of the Tashkent region amounted to 3007.4 thousand people, an increase of 1.8% compared to with the corresponding period of 2022.

The number of women - 1498.4 thousand people,
The number of men - 1509.0 thousand people,
In urban areas - 1504.8 thousand people,
In rural areas - 1502.6 thousand people.
