As of January-May 2023, in Samarkand region, 76.5% of households have children under 16 years old.
Of them:
- families with one child - 19.2%;
- families with two children - 29.8%;
- families with three children - 18.7%;
- families with four or more children - 8.8%.
According to the survey, 23.5% of households do not have children under the age of 16.
