On July 11, 2023, an online meeting was organized between representatives of the Statistics Agency and employees of the National Statistical Service of Georgia to discuss the exchange of experience, in particular, the creation and maintenance of a statistical business register of enterprises and the improvement of the development of information and communication technologies.
During the meeting, representatives of the Statistics Agency got acquainted with the methodology of maintaining the statistical business register of enterprises by the National Statistical Service of Georgia, as well as with the procedure and practice for the development of information and communication technologies.
Also, in turn, representatives of the Statistics Agency demonstrated the practice of Uzbekistan in creating and maintaining the Unified State Register of Enterprises and Organizations to colleagues from Georgia. During this meeting, the best practices of Georgia in the use of information and communication technologies in the implementation of data integration and the modern methodology used in this process were discussed.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on further cooperation between the two statistical institutions in the field of mutual exchange of experience in statistical activities.
