As of January 1, 2023, in all categories of farms, the number of sheep of Karakul breeds amounted to 5,987.4 thousand heads.
The largest share of the total number of sheep of Karakul breeds among the regions belongs to the Bukhara region (33.4%). Also, a significant share was noted in Kashkadarya (25.6%) and Navoi (24.8%) regions.
