In January-June 2023, a total of 1,670.9 thousand tons of potatoes were produced in the republic, or 103.3 % compared to the corresponding period of 2022.
An analysis of the total volume of potato production by categories of farms showed that 13.5 % of their volume falls on farms, 85.6 % - on dekhkan and subsidiary plots, 0.9 % - on organizations engaged in agricultural activities.
