On August 22, 2023, an online meeting was held between representatives of the Statistics agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and representatives of the Bureau of National Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan on issues related to the practice of organizing the collection of transport and innovation statistics.
In the course of the meeting, representatives of the Statistics agency got acquainted with the practice of the Bureau of National Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan on collecting and keeping a record of transport and innovation statistics, in particular, with the methodology for forming the transport and innovation statistics, innovation indicators, data sources, the practice of organizing the surveys and so forth.
In their turn, representatives of the Statistics agency demonstrated the practice of Uzbekistan in collecting and keeping a record of transport and innovation statistics to colleagues from the Bureau of National Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In the course of this meeting, issues of interest to representatives of both parties on transport and innovation statistics were discussed.
In conclusion of the meeting, the parties also agreed on further cooperation between their statistical institutions in the field of mutual exchange of experience.
