According to a sample survey by the Statistics Agency, as of January-November 2023 in the Bukhara region, 71.2 % of households have children under 16 years of age.
Of them:
households with one child – 22.5 %;
households with two children – 28.3 %;
households with three children – 15.9 %;
households with four or more children – 4.5 %.
According to the survey, 28.8 % of households do not have children under the age of 16.
