According to preliminary data, in January-September 2023, 8,579.2 thousand tons of milk were produced in the republic.
This figure increased by 3.5 % compared to 2022.
A significant share of the total milk volume belongs to the Samarkand region (12.2 %).
At the same time, high milk yield rates were noted in Kashkadarya (10.9 %), Khorezm (10.7 %) and Fergana (9.4 %) regions.
