According to preliminary data, in January-September 2023, only 6,972.1 thousand tons of grain crops were grown in the republic.
This indicator increased by 3.3% compared to 2022.
The largest share in the total volume of cultivated grain crops falls on the Fergana region (11.2 %).
Also, high rates of growing grain crops were recorded in Kashkadarya (11.1 %), Surkhandarya (9.9 %) and Samarkand (9.7 %) regions.
