According to preliminary data, in January-September 2023, only 2,280.2 thousand tons of fruits and berries were grown in the republic.
This figure increased by 3.1 % compared to 2022.
The largest share in the total volume of fruits and berries grown is in the Andijan region (20.9 %).
Also, high rates were recorded in Fergana (13.8 %), Samarkand (13.1 %) and Bukhara (10.2 %) regions.
