According to preliminary data, the total number of horses in the republic as of January 1, 2024 reached 275.9 thousand heads, this figure compared to the same period in 2023 was 102.6 %.
A significant share of the total horse population is in the Tashkent region (20.6 %). At the same time, high horse numbers were noted in the Kashkadarya (13.4 %) and Samarkand (10.8 %) regions.
