At the end of 2023, the share of trade in the GDP of the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 6.3 %.
The largest shares of trade, accommodation and food services in the sectoral structure of the gross regional product belong to the city of Tashkent (14.2 %) and Surkhandarya region (7.9 %).
