On April 17 of this year, with the participation of Batir Melikmuratov, head of the Department of Internal Anti-Corruption Control of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and employees of the statistics Department of Surkhandarya region, a seminar was organized on the topic "Prevention and combating corruption is a priority in the statistical system."
Botir Melikmurotov spoke at the event and explained the essence of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 3, 2017 No.LRU-419 "On combating Corruption", as well as more than 10 decrees and resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to ensure the implementation of this law in society.
During the seminar, it was noted that it is necessary to prevent corruption in the field of statistics, to fight it in constant cooperation with law enforcement organizations.
In order to uncompromisingly fight statistical agencies against corruption factors in their activities, to improve the skills of all employees, booklets, flyers and other handouts were distributed to employees.
