As part of the implementation of the state youth policy in the system of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as in order to support young specialists, the “1st Forum of Young Statisticians” was held on May 24-25 of this year in the Namangan region. Young specialists from territorial departments of the Statistics Agency took part in the forum.
The participants got acquainted with the activities of the information library “Yangi O’zbekiston - Yoshlar ziyo maskani”, after which an intellectual game “Zakovat Quiz” was organized among young statisticians, solving crossword puzzles.
The event was opened by the khokim of the city of Namangan, Otakhodjaev Anvar Khojakhanovich, who wished all participants good luck. Young employees also visited the FAZMAN TEKSTIL LLC enterprise in the Davlatabad district and got acquainted with the production processes.
In the afternoon, the 2nd stage of the forum’s sports competitions started. In it, participants competed among themselves in table tennis and checkers.
At the end of the day, as part of the “63rd International Flower Festival”, an excursion was organized to the cultural and recreation park named after Zakhiriddin Muhammad Babur in the city of Namangan and to get acquainted with floral arrangements to the “Valley of Legends” theme park in the Davlatabad district.
On the second day of the event, the head of the Namangan region statistics department, Sanzharbek Obidkhanovich Melikhuzhaev, held an open dialogue with the participants on the topic “Meeting with young statisticians, suggestions and considerations.” During the event, an award ceremony for the winners of the “1st Forum of Young Statisticians” took place. Active youth participants were presented with memorable gifts and diplomas.
