Based on the results of January-March 2024, the gross domestic product of the Republic of Uzbekistan in current prices amounted to 242,701.6 billion soums and, compared to January-March 2023, increased in real terms by 6.2 %.
The largest shares of agriculture, forestry and fisheries in the sectoral structure of GRP belong to the Jizzakh (30.1 %) and Khorezm (29.8 %) regions, industries - Navoi (77.7 %) and Tashkent (50.2 %) regions, construction – Surkhandarya (9.0%) and Bukhara (8.7 %) regions, service sectors – Tashkent city (62.2 %) and Samarkand region (54.8 %).
