A seminar on the topic “The importance of the population census” was held at the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agricultural Technologies by the employees of the Division for organizing and conducting census processes of the Department of Statistics of the Andijan region.
The seminar was attended by specialists from the regional statistical department, teachers and students of the institute.
During the seminar, the issues of preparing schematic maps of all existing cities and districts of the region, as well as mahallas and rural settlements were raised.
Information was also presented on the main goals and objectives of the census event in our republic, and on the preparatory processes carried out in this direction.
The students' questions were answered in detail by specialists from the statistical department.
