On July 2 of this year, the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, under the leadership of the Department of Statistics of Industry and Energy, as well as the Department of Organization and Methodology of Statistical Work, held a presentation on the example of the process of forming indicators "Production of industrial products" on the implementation of the national model "Standard model of production of statistical information" (Generic Statistical Business Process Model – GSBPM).
The presentation was attended by the heads and employees of the departments of the central office, as well as those responsible for the implementation of the national model (GSBPM) into practice.
The tasks were also defined in the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 4, 2024 No. PP-114 "On measures to organize the activities of the statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan". In particular, in accordance with the resolution, in order to introduce into the national statistical system the basic principles of the United Nations for ensuring the quality of official statistics: the formation of statistical data based on the international GSBPM model, the development of a quality policy and dissemination in official statistics for each of the producers of official statistics.
Sardor Juraev, Head of the Department of Industrial and Energy Statistics, familiarized the participants with the processes of putting the national GSBPM model into practice.
After the presentation, the participants received answers to their questions.
