In January-May 2024, 66.9% of the total volume of construction works, or 39.6 trillion soums, were directed to the creation of new production capacities in the field of economy, housing and communal services and other social facilities.
The highest volumes were recorded for new construction works by region, in particular in Tashkent (9,806.3 billion soums), Samarkand region (2,758.9 billion soums), Navoi region (2,625.5 billion soums) and Kashkadarya region (2,582.2 billion soums).
