According to the results of January-March 2024, the gross value added created in the field of information and communications amounted to 5.6 trillion soums and, compared with January-March 2023, increased in real terms by 18.6 %.
The positive contribution of the information and communications sector to GDP growth amounted to 0.4 percentage points.
The share of the information and communications sector in GDP reached 2.4 %.
Tashkent city (8.3 %) and Ferghana region (1.9 %) have the largest shares of the information and communications sector in the sectoral structure of the gross regional product.
