According to preliminary data, 48,603 tons of fish were caught by all categories of farms in January-June 2024.
This indicator increased by 4.6% compared to the corresponding period of 2023.
Khorezm region (17.4%) accounted for the highest share of the total volume of fishing.
At the same time, high rates of fishing were recorded in Tashkent (10.3%), Jizzakh (9.9%) and Andijan (9.4%) regions.
