According to preliminary data, as of July 1, 2024, the total number of cows in the republic reached 4,874.3 thousand heads.
This indicator increased by 1.9% compared to the corresponding period of 2023.
The highest share of the total number of cows corresponds to Samarkand region (14.4%).
At the same time, high numbers of cows were observed in Kashkadarya (11.4%) and Bukhara (8.9%) regions.
