According to the preliminary data, as of July 1, 2024, the total number of bighorn cattle in the republic reached 13,777.8 thousand.
This indicator increased by 2% compared to the corresponding period of 2023.
The highest share of the total number of bighorn cattle belongs to Kashkadarya region (12.5%).
At the same time, high numbers of large horned cattle were recorded in Samarkand (12%) and Bukhara (9.7%) regions.
