On August 28 of this year, a meeting with a delegation from the Department of Statistics of Malaysia was organized at the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The event was attended by employees of the central office, headed by the Director of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Begalov Bakhodir Abdusalomovich, as well as the chief statistician of the Department of Statistics of Malaysia, Dr. Mohd Uzir Mahidin.
The objective of the meeting was to discuss new areas of cooperation between Statistics Malaysia and the Statistics Agency, continue joint work on issues identified in the Memorandum of Understanding signed on 26 February 2024, and discuss other issues related to the exchange of best practices in the field of statistics.
During the visit, the chief statistician of the Department of Statistics Malaysia together with the head of the Statistics Agency visited the Agency’s museum.
