On September 27 of this year, an online webinar on the status of ongoing work on the organization of statistical activities, preventive work, international cooperation and information exchange, as well as on the current state of the work was organized at the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for employees of the Departments of Organization of Statistical Activities and Summary Information Works of the Department of Statistics of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent and the upcoming priorities.
The webinar provided a detailed explanation of the essence of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated March 4, 2024 No. PP-114 "On measures to organize the activities of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan", and also discussed the tasks of statistical bodies based on the requirements of this resolution.
The webinar also provided methodological recommendations to employees on the content, development and monitoring of statistical programs, crime prevention and administrative practice in the field of statistics, departmental policy for the dissemination of official statistics, registration of statistical bulletins in statistical agencies, the formation of statistical collections, the international methodology "SNA-2008": changes, recommendations and recommendations for their application, Detailed ideas are given about the features of the formation of value added by GDP (GRP) and industries.
The calculation of these indicators by region and the order of the announcement were shown by examples and answers to their questions were given.
At the end of the webinar, employees of the Departments of Organization of Statistical Activities and Summary Information Works were asked test questions on the topic of the webinar and their level of proficiency in the topic was assessed.
