The Forum is being held on October 2-4 this year at the InterContinental Trilliant Hotel in Tashkent together with the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Interstate Statistical Committee of the CIS.
The forum is attended by more than 150 participants, including the leadership of the CIS Interstate Statistical Committee, representatives of the CIS Executive Committee, the Director of the UN Statistics Division, the Director of the UNECE Statistical Division, as well as the first heads of statistical departments of almost 20 foreign countries and experts from other international organizations.
The main objective of the forum is to exchange advanced international experience in the widespread use of digital technologies in the field of statistics, modernization of statistical processes in the context of digital transformation, discussion of issues of the widespread use of alternative data sources for the formation of official statistics, including big data and artificial intelligence.
