On December 18-19, 2024, a meeting was held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, with representatives of the statistical services of the CIS countries on the topic "ICP-2024 International Comparison Program" within the framework of the CIS-2024.
The meeting was attended by the national statistical offices of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Armenia, the Kyrgyz Republic, Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan and Tajikistan. The seminar was organized by the Statistics Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
The seminar was attended by specialists from the Price Statistics Department of the Agency for Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, head of the department Mukhtor Umarov and head of the department Bunyodbek Nishonboyev.
The list of goods and services participating in the ICP-2024 was agreed upon at the meeting. The meeting was also opened by Deputy Chairman of the CIS Statistical Committee A.E.Kosarev, who noted the current state of work, as well as those carried out within the framework of ICP-2024, and the tasks to be completed in the future.
The delegation of Uzbekistan took part in a seminar with a presentation on the work done in recent years on ICP-2024 at the Agency for Statistics.
