According to the National Statistics Committee, in January 2026, Uzbekistan imported 2,570 tons of tea worth $3.8 million from 14 foreign countries.
The volume of imports decreased by 421 tons compared to the corresponding period of 2025.
Countries that delivered the most tea to Uzbekistan in the first month of 2026:
China - 2,122 tons;
Kazakhstan - 123 tons;
Iran - 113.4 tons;
Kenya - 97.6 tons;
Indonesia - 41.8 tons;
Other countries - 72.3 tons.
