According to the National Statistics Committee, a total of 15,124 foreign citizens arrived in Uzbekistan for the purpose of studying in January-March 2026.
This figure increased by 8.5 thousand people or 2.3 times compared to the corresponding period last year.
During this period, the number of foreign citizens who arrived in Uzbekistan for the purpose of studying by country is as follows:
Turkmenistan - 7,174 people;
India - 2,835 people;
Tajikistan - 1,170 people;
China - 641 people;
Kyrgyz Republic - 483 people;
Pakistan - 438 people;
Egypt - 353 people;
South Korea - 342 people;
Philippines - 286 people;
USA - 191 people;
Other countries - 1,211 people.
