According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, 21.3 thousand tons of fish were caught by all categories of farms in the republic in January-March 2026.
This figure increased by 6.1 % compared to the corresponding period of 2025.
The volume of fish caught by region is as follows:
Khorezm region - 4.5 thousand tons
Jizzakh region - 3.5 thousand tons
Tashkent region - 3.3 thousand tons
Andijan region - 1.7 thousand tons
Navoi region - 1.5 thousand tons
Syrdarya region - 1.3 thousand tons
Namangan region - 1.2 thousand tons
Fergana region - 1.0 thousand tons
Republic of Karakalpakstan - 0.9 thousand tons
Bukhara region - 0.9 thousand tons
Surkhandarya region - 0.6 thousand tons
Kashkadarya region - 0.5 thousand tons
Samarkand region - 0.5 thousand tons
