According to the National Statistics Committee, as of May 1, 2026, there are 31,489 enterprises and organizations operating in the construction sector in Uzbekistan.
Their number increased by almost 3.1 thousand compared to the corresponding period last year.
The number of enterprises and organizations operating in the construction sector by region is:
Tashkent city - 7,769;
Tashkent region - 2,905;
Samarkand region - 2,378;
Fergana region - 2,333;
Bukhara region - 2,194;
Kashkadarya region - 2,119;
Surkhandarya region - 1,958;
Andijan region - 1,755;
Republic of Karakalpakstan - 1,655;
Khorezm region - 1,602;
Namangan region - 1,420;
Navoi region - 1,302;
Jizzakh region - 1,237;
Syrdarya region - 862.
