According to the National Statistics Committee, in January-May 2026, large enterprises in Uzbekistan produced basic pharmaceutical products and preparations worth 2.3 trillion soums.
This figure increased by 29.4% compared to the corresponding period last year.
The volume of production by region is as follows:
Tashkent city - 1.4 trillion soums;
Syrdarya region - 345.7 billion soums;
Tashkent region - 163.9 billion soums;
Namangan region - 131.5 billion soums;
Samarkand region - 91.5 billion soums;
Andijan region - 52.2 billion soums;
Fergana region - 45.4 billion soums;
Surkhandarya region - 38.1 billion soums;
Kashkadarya region - 11 billion soums;
Khorezm region - 6.6 billion soums;
Bukhara region - 5.3 billion soums;
Republic of Karakalpakstan - 2.5 billion soums.
