According to the National Statistics Committee, 75.3 thousand tons of fish were caught by all categories of farms in the republic in January–June 2026.
This figure increased by 37.1% compared to the corresponding period of 2025.
The volume of fish caught by region is as follows:
Khorezm region - 12.6 thousand tons;
Namangan region - 8.4 thousand tons;
Tashkent region - 7.5 thousand tons;
Andijan region - 7.1 thousand tons;
Syrdarya region - 6.5 thousand tons;
Jizzakh region - 6.0 thousand tons;
Fergana region - 5.8 thousand tons;
Republic of Karakalpakstan - 5.4 thousand tons;
Navoi region - 5.2 thousand tons;
Samarkand region - 4.1 thousand tons;
Bukhara region - 2.9 thousand tons;
Surkhandarya region - 2.4 thousand tons;
Kashkadarya region - 1.5 thousand tons.
