According to the National Committee on Statistics, in January–June 2026, the share of information and communication technology (ICT) services in Uzbekistan’s gross domestic product amounted to 2.9%.
The indicator by year was as follows (January–June):
2024 — 2.4%;
2025 — 2.8%;
2026 — 2.9%.
During this period, the gross value added generated in ICT services amounted to UZS 30.3 trillion.
In the structure of gross value added generated in ICT services:
computer programming, consultancy and related activities — 53.6%;
telecommunications services — 28.9%;
data processing, hosting and related activities, and web portals — 10.5%;
software — 4.4%;
repair of computers and communication equipment — 2.6%.
