According to the National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, construction works worth UZS 55.5 trillion were carried out on civil engineering projects in Uzbekistan in January–August 2026.

This figure increased by 31.6 % compared with the corresponding period of 2025.

The volume of civil engineering construction by region was as follows:

Republic of Karakalpakstan — UZS 2.2 trillion;

Andijan region — UZS 2.5 trillion;

Bukhara region — UZS 3.9 trillion;

Jizzakh region — UZS 1.6 trillion;

Kashkadarya region — UZS 2.7 trillion;

Navoi region — UZS 2.4 trillion;

Namangan region — UZS 2 trillion;

Samarkand region — UZS 7.9 trillion;

Surkhandarya region — UZS 2.4 trillion;

Syrdarya region — UZS 1.8 trillion;

Tashkent region — UZS 6.5 trillion;

Fergana region — UZS 3.7 trillion;

Khorezm region — UZS 2.8 trillion;

Tashkent city — UZS 1.3 trillion.
