Careful preparations are being made for the upcoming population census in 2023.
The Department of Statistics of the Syrdarya region held an event dedicated to the process of preparing for the population census at the secondary school No. 2 in Gulistan, Syrdarya region.
The event was said about the nature and value of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 11, 2020 No. 710 "On measures for preparation and holding of the population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2023" and the work on its implementation, as well as the relevance of the census, formed of the importance of information for socio - economic state programs.
During the seminar, students were provided with detailed explanations on filling out the census questionnaire.
