According to preliminary data for January-March 2021, the share of money transfers from abroad in the total total income of the population was 15.6%. By region, the largest share was observed in Samarkand (25.6%) and Khorezm (21.8%) regions. Also in Andijan (21.2%), Surkhandarya (21.1%) regions and the Republic of Karakalpakstan (18.7%), as well as Kashkadarya (18.6%), Namangan (17.7%), Bukhara(16.9%) and Ferghana (15.9%) regions.
