As of April 1, 2022, the number of small businesses per 1,000 people in the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 13.4 units. The number of small businesses per 1000 people was the largest in the Yakkasaray district - 67.8 units.

The largest share of small enterprises and microfirms that took part in the sample observation in the first quarter of 2022, assessing the economic situation as favorable in terms of the prospects for changes in the next 3 months, by type of economic activity amounted to 45.9% in agriculture, forestry and fisheries, 45, 6% in trade, 45.1% in construction, 43.4% in industry.

In our country, in January-May 2022, the number of newly created construction enterprises compared to the corresponding period in 2018 amounted to 79.6 percent.
