According to the results of January-March 2022, the volume of spending on household final consumption amounted to 98.9 trillion. soums and increased by 11.9% compared to the corresponding period of 2021. Its share in GDP was 60.8%.

In accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 11, 2020 No. 710 “On measures to prepare and conduct a population census in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2023”, from July 1, 2022, population census departments began to work in all districts and cities of the republic.

As of January 1, 2022, there are 328 swimming pools in the sports facilities of the republic.

As of January 1, 2022, the length of public roads in the Republic of Uzbekistan is 42,869 kilometers, including 42,299 kilometers of paved roads (98.7% of the total length).

As of January 1, 2022, there are 256 units of rolling stock (cars) in the Tashkent metro, the number of cars increased by 40 units (by 18.5 percent) compared to last year.

 In January-May 2022, in the Republic of Uzbekistan, state-owned organizations carried out construction work for a total of 1207.1 billion soums. And organizations that are in non-state ownership - 44475.2 billion soums. Their share in the republic was 2.6% and 97.4%, respectively.

In the first quarter of 2022, the largest share of small enterprises and microfirms that assessed the prospect of changes for the next three months as favorable was in Kashkadarya region - 65.6%, Jizzakh region - 55.4%, Surkhandarya region - 52.3%, and in Republic of Karakalpakstan - 43.4%.

In January-May 2022, the share of construction work accounted for by the informal sector of the total volume in the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 15.4%, or 7017.0 billion soums. The volume of construction work performed by the informal sector, compared to the corresponding period in 2021, amounted to 103.0%.

In January-March 2022, 3668.2 billion soums of investment in fixed assets were disbursed in the Kashkadarya region. At the expense of attracted funds, 70.3% of investments in fixed assets mastered in this territory were financed, at the expense of own funds of enterprises, organizations and the population - 29.7% of investments.

As of June 1, 2022, the number of business entities operating in the field of accommodation and catering services (34,256) amounted to 7.0 percent of the total number of business entities (491,071), and the dynamics of their growth over the past five years looks in the following way:

In Jizzakh region, in January-March 2022, the share of investments financed from non-centralized sources of financing in total investment in fixed assets amounted to 92.8 %, or 1673.9 billion soums, and the growth rate compared to the corresponding period of the previous year - 100.6 %. 

As of June 1, 2022, the number of enterprises and organizations operating in the field of transportation and storage (19,116) amounted to 3.4 percent (554,971) of the total number of enterprises and organizations.

As of January 1, 2022, the total length of the Tashkent Metro was 59.1 kilometers (length in double terms), compared to the previous year, this figure increased by 63.7 percent (as of January 1, 2021, 36.1 kilometers) .

 In the first quarter of 2022, the largest share of small enterprises and micro-firms that assessed the economic situation for the next three months as satisfactory, amounted to 59.9% in Khorezm region, 58.8% in Namangan region, 54.3% in Fergana region and 54.2% in Tashkent city.
