On July 22 this year, the Legal Department and the Internal Anti-Corruption Control Service of the State Statistics Committee held a seminar to improve the legal literacy of employees and prevent corruption.
At the seminar, all participants were explained in detail the content and essence of the decisions of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-323 “On measures to support the education of women in higher, secondary specialized and vocational educational institutions” and No. PP-240 “On measures to improve mechanisms for eliminating corruption risks in the field of public administration and the expansion of public participation in this area”.
At present, consistent reforms are being carried out in our society to support women. In particular, in accordance with Resolution No. PP-323, in the 2022-2023 academic year, 14% of concessional loans for the education of women in higher educational institutions on a fee-based contract basis are provided, and the main part of the educational loan is repaid within 7 years, starting from the seventh month after the official end of the student's term of study.
All the questions of the meeting participants regarding the benefits and guarantees provided by our state for the education of women in higher educational institutions on the basis of a paid contract were given detailed answers by the Legal Department and the Internal Anti-Corruption Control Service.
