On November 24, 2021, the State Committee on Statistics, the Anti-Corruption Agency, the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan and the International Open Data Charter organized an online seminar on the topic “Open Data against corruption”.
The seminar was dedicated to the development of the open data ecosystem in order to increase the openness of government agencies and prevent corruption in our country.
The event was attended by representatives of the State Committee on Statistics, the Anti-Corruption Agency, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Agency of Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan, as well as international experts.
Following the results of the seminar, the parties agreed to continue close cooperation on all topical issues.
The event is organized within the framework of the Open Data Week held in our country.
