On May 30-31 this year, in the conference hall of the Courtyard Marriott hotel in Tashkent, a seminar was held on the topic “Identification of priority tasks in the fight against corruption, the introduction of modern tools for preventing corruption in the country”.
Z. Abdukhamidov, Head of the Internal Anti-Corruption Control Service of the State Statistics Committee, took part in the event.
As you know, the Anti-Corruption Agency carries out the tasks of introducing and organizing the effective functioning of internal anti-corruption control structures in state bodies and organizations.
In particular, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 12 of this year No. PP-81 “On measures to introduce a system for rating the effectiveness of anti-corruption work”, the Agency introduced a system for rating the effectiveness of anti-corruption work.
Currently, through the electronic platform "E-Anticor.uz", the effectiveness of 24 state bodies and organizations in combating corruption is being analyzed as an experiment.
Another important step in improving work in this direction was the Decree of the President adopted on May 11 this year “On measures to improve the mechanisms for eliminating corruption risks in public administration and expanding public participation in this area”.
This event has become an active platform for the exchange of experience, advanced training and skills of more than 220 managers and employees of the internal anti-corruption control structures of ministries and departments, local khokimiyats.
At the end of the event, the participants of the seminar were awarded certificates from the Anti-Corruption Agency.
