In the Department of Statistics of Navoi region, with the participation of accountants of enterprises and organizations, a seminar on combating corruption was held.
The event was attended by the First Deputy Head of the Department of Statistics of the Navoi region Zh. Umarov, the head of the Anti-Corruption Department of the State Statistics Committee on Statistics Z. Abdukhamidov, the head of the Department of Justice of the city of Navoi A. Kholmuminov and the chairman of the Navoi regional branch of the National Association of Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations of Uzbekistan K. Bobokulova , who spoke about the content and enforcement of the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Combating Corruption”.
Also at the event, Z. Abdukhamidov emphasized the need to prevent corruption in the system of the State Statistics Committee, its prevention, timely detection and suppression of corruption offenses, elimination of their consequences, causes and conditions conducive to their commission, the inevitability of responsibility for committing corruption offenses.
During the event, a video was presented to the attention of the audience, reflecting the negative consequences of corruption.
Also, a practical seminar on combating corruption was held at the Department of Statistics of Surkhandarya region.
The seminar was held by the head of the Department of Statistics of Surkhandarya region U. Alimov. During the event, the head of the internal anti-corruption control service of the State Statistics Committee Z. Abdukhamidov spoke. He noted in his speech that corruption undermines the foundations of democracy and the rule of law, leads to the violation of human rights.
During the event, the film "Vijdon saratoni" was presented, filmed with the cooperation of the Civil Service Development Agency under the President, the Anti-Corruption Agency and the Film Agency, as well as with the support of relevant organizations.
The event was attended by heads and employees of district and city departments of statistics, who received answers to their questions.
