The event was organized by the Internal Anti-Corruption Service of the State Committee on Statistics.
At the event, the employees of the central office of the committee were provided with detailed information on departmental documents on combating corruption. In particular, the Head of the Internal Anti-Corruption Control Service, Zakir Abdukhamidov, spoke about the documents being adopted to combat corruption.
Also during the meeting, an exchange of views took place on corruption factors and conflicts of interest.
It should be noted that the Anti-Corruption Agency, within the framework of the UN Development Program project “Combating corruption in an organization based on anti-corruption standards through effective, accountable and transparent management institutions in Uzbekistan”, developed and submitted to state organizations and departments a “Package of recommendation documents for the implementation of an internal anti-corruption control ISO 37001:2016”.
