In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 11, 2020 No. 710, from November 1 to 25, 2021, in the Khojaabad district of the Andijan region, the Yukori Chirchik district of the Tashkent region, the city of Khiva, the Khorezm region and the Yashnabad district of the City of Tashkent, it is planned to conduct a pilot census.
Citizens wishing to take part in the pilot population census were selected on the basis of an interview and involved in temporary work on a contract basis.
In order to organize this work at a high-quality and high level, Goskomstat formed a working group of 50 people, consisting of heads of departments and employees.
On November 9 of this year, the Office for the Organization and Conduct of the Census Processes of the State Committee on Statistics organized a video conference for the members of the working groups attached to the regions.
At the event, the Head of the Department of Organization and Conduct of the Census Processes Berdikulov Kobil Gulamovich, having exchanged views with the members of the working group, gave appropriate proposals and recommendations for the correct organization of work and increasing efficiency.
Members of the working group instruct enumerators on the use of housing lists based on schematic maps of mahallas, the correct filling of questionnaires, communication with respondents, storage, transfer of forms and other issues.
