On November 2 this year, chaired by the Head of our state Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a video conference was held to discuss measures to provide the population with housing and expand green areas.
Within the framework of measures for the implementation of the national project "Green Zone", tasks have been identified to plant 200 million seedlings of trees and shrubs per year throughout the country. It was emphasized that it is thanks to this that it is planned to increase the area of green areas in cities from the current 8 to 30 percent, which should make a single contribution to this large-scale project.
In order to ensure the execution of these instructions, the State Statistics Committee is consistently organizing practical work within the framework of the national project "Green Zone".
In particular, on Shokirarik Street in the Yangikhayat region, the State Committee on Statistics planted 50 chestnut seedlings, and representatives of the Statistics Department of the City of Tashkent planted 50 sycamore seedlings.
Also, within the framework of this project, various seedlings of fruit and ornamental trees are planted by regional statistical offices.
For information, this project has been announced as “shock 40 days” for planting trees until December 10th.
