In the Republic of Uzbekistan, in January - October 2021, chemical industry enterprises produced products worth 21.7 trillion. soums. The index of the physical volume of the network compared to January - October 2020 amounted to 102.8%.
In particular:
- Superphosphate production increased by 3.5 times;
- Formaldehyde production increased 1.6 times;
- Urea production increased by 53.0 %;
- Production of sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) - increased by 4.9 %.
The largest share in the total volume of products produced by chemical enterprises in the republic fell on the Republic of Karakalpakstan (32.4%), Navoi region (16.2%), Tashkent region (14.4%) and Kashkadarya region (13.6 %).
